Hi, my name is Ondrej, but I have been using the pseudonym FM Rensie for many years within the Football Manager community while writing blog posts, creating graphic add-ons or custom skins.
I previously owned/managed the website named fmrensie.net, but I closed that website in 2021 ahead of moving to CoffeehouseFM.com with a couple of friends, which you surely know from the FM community.
I started writing in English, not my native language, back in 2015 when my main save within Football Manager 2015 was with the Scottish club Spartans FC. The previous years of playing FM and writing about it on my own blog/website took me to different countries.
The catastrophic FM26 edition “killed” the joy of playing and creating content for many people. And despite many of us being on our way back, there are people who devote their time to other things. And I don’t blame them. I understand them.
It’s also one of the reasons why the great CoffeehouseFM website closed its doors at the end of the 2026 calendar year.
It brought me back to my own space. Mainly because I didn’t want to lose all the posts from the time I wrote at the CHFM. I imported most of the things back and created this simple website to keep the memories from the saves since I started writing in English. No matter how many posts I write in the future. Maybe five, maybe zero. I don’t know.
I’m 40 years old father of two sons, an amateur runner and cyclists, former amateur footballer. And I like Football Manager. That’s why I have this website.
Take care, everyone.
FM Slack
I like to recommend joining Football Manager Slack for many years at the end of almost all my blog posts. It would be weird not to mention it here too.
There were a lot of changes within many social media, including Twitter (now “X”), and it’s not the same as in the past. We can’t see many things due to the algorithm, weird preferences and many other reasons I don’t even want to know.
There are many Discord servers, and I’m sure they are good and useful. But I will probably always be a bigger fan of Slack. Or, better worded, the Football Manager Slack. Feel free to join us with this link.
You will find a short channel summary in the ‘generalchat’ so it will be easier for you to navigate through the channels.
